What’s A Fundraiser Worth?

The Agitator

'The Chronicle of Philanthropy sheds light on this question, publishing a report on salaries of about 430 fundraisers from about 280 nonprofits with $35 million plus in revenue. The Chronicle relied upon IRS 990 forms filed by nonprofits in 2011. Fundraising certainly is fun!

Fundraising Coach

'I often remind people that fundraising is a marathon, not a sprint. It takes hard work, strategic planning, and most importantly consistent execution of the plans. But it''s important to remember that fundraising is fun! We get to connect donors'' assets with their passions. Who wouldn''t want to be part of that?!
