In an ideal world Giving Tuesday wouldn’t be associated with political emails and Cyber Monday ads.

Scott Resumes Giving Away Millions In Large Chunks

She is back at it. MacKenzie Scott, who in the past few years has given away more than $17 billion, has provided $65 million to the Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC) in New York City. It is the largest contribution in LISC’s nearly half-century history. The LISC gift was not a solo. The Corporation for Supportive Housing in New York City announced Scott had donated $40 million and Access to Capital for Entrepreneurs in Atlanta received $10 million, both during September.
