Here’s a hint: They want to know the inside scoop on what it takes to save bears or tutor kids or help homeless veterans. In the summer, write about helping your dog handle the heat or how kids who are on free/reduced lunch at school are struggling for food now that school’s out. Saving bears? Talk about the impact of your work.

That higher education level, the ability to communicate, the ability to complete their education affects probably their spouse or their partner, it might affect their children. If the experience of those children is not positive, then is it really a celebration?
